Sam Qita, President and Consultant

Sam Qita brings more than 15 years of leadership and a proven track record with high growth software and service companies to Smart Mobility. His focus at Smart Mobility is to drive the company's strategic direction and to oversee all operations of the company. Sam’s broad experience base in delivering software and service solutions for wide range of mobile industries and customers gives him a unique perspective of the most pressing concerns of mobility today: visibility, measurement, effectiveness and efficiency.

Sam has served in several roles under different companies, such as IBM, Psion Teklogix, Computer Aided Technology and UTech. Sam has managed partner relations with a number of distinct world-wide partners such as Microsoft, IBM, Sun, HP, SAP, Oracle, just to name few. Overall, he has over 10 years experience in project management, 8 years in product management and product marketing, 5 years in consulting, 5 years in sales, and 5 years in software development.

Sam holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation, an MBA in marketing and strategy from York University, a Masters in Engineering from McGill University, and a Bachelors in Computer Science from University of Western Ontario.
